1.Begin Your Day with a Mission:
★ You understand how the majority of us are emerging out of the bed, going through our phones and running about the day completely mindlessly? I would also do that. However, all this changed one morning when I only asked myself one question: what is the one thing I want to be able to feel proud of when this day ends?
★ It altered everything.
★However, in case the answer is tiny, such as completing a single task or calling a beloved person, it provides your day with direction. Success does not only deal with long term goals. It is also a competition of winning your day.
2.Establish Mini- habits:
★ We are used to hearing about creating habits, and there is a problem, though, because most people jump in too big. The thing is that it is possible to wake up at 4 AM or go to the gym daily spending an hour there. That holds until a week.
★Rather, begin with a small one. Such as drinking one additional glass of water, going out and walking 10 minutes, or open a notebook before going to bed. These micro- habits slowly but naturally extend into the larger things.
★ I only started by listing 3 things I was thankful about every night. That single habit has taken me to meditate; journal and even sleep better today.
3.Know how to Suggest NO without Guilt.
★ This is the tough one, particularly in our Indian culture where we are trained to say a yes to all and everything. But believe me your time and energy is an absolute commodity.
★ The refusal to do things you do not need to, be in gossip gangs, bad people, or even get addicted to social media will help keep your eyes on the important things. It is not rude.
★ Right … consider this, how are you going to say yes to yourself when you have already said yes to everybody?
4.Ephasis on achieving Progress not Perfectionm:
★ Among the greatest errors that I committed in my early age was trying to be perfect, a perfect student, worker, and a friend. What I learned though was this.
★ Excellence is a destroyer of improvement.
★ And you know, you wait til a particular moment, the perfect moment to do some thing: the right time, the right mood, the right money, the right whatever, and you never start. Regardless of what you might be trying to learn or what your business venture is, whether it is you trying to become a better person or just a better learner, making incremental improvements is what you should aim at.
★ Perfection is better than done.
5.Associate with Good Company:
★ The ones with whom we spend most of the time with become our replica. When you associate yourself with a lot of negative people, who always complain around you, then you will be brought down as well.
★ Make time to spend with people who make you feel good, including on video, via podcasts, or in reading. Personally, I began to listen to the motivational speakers, such as Jay Shetty and Gaur Gopal Das. When the going got rough I would just listen to them and they are what gave me hope and energy.
★ Be wise in the food you eat mentally
6.Continue Learning: Learning Does Not Just Stop in School:
★ Degrees or certificates are not the only success in life. It is about educating on what school does not necessarily teach: confidence, communication skills, money management and emotional control.
★Nowadays it is possible to gain almost any knowledge without paying money namely due to the possibility of using the services of such sites as YouTube, Coursera, or such a blog as this one. I also got to know how to write a resume once through a random blog, and that won me my first real job!
★ That is why practicing should be done daily, however short it may be (10 minutes is fine)
7.Have a Confidence That You Will succeed:
★ Although this may seem cheesy, it is a fact: your reality is determined by your mindset. There are probably a lot of people in this world who think they are not lucky or clever enough to succeed but do not dare to say anything. I used to believe the same.
★ However it is not the life that only rewards those that are smart or the richest. It pays off to think you can, and to continue showing up in spite of the fact that nobody is really paying attention.
